The National Law University, Meghalaya offers admissions at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. The NLU Meghalaya admissions are offered based on the performance of the candidate in the entrance examination conducted by the university.

The NLU Meghalaya admission to the UG selection process is done based on a valid score in MEG UAT. The NLU Meghalaya PG admissions are done based on the valid scores in MEG PAT followed by the personal interview process. The final step in the NLU Meghalaya admission process is document verification and fee payment. The details of the NLU Meghalaya admission procedure are given below.

NLU Meghalaya Admission 2024- Application Process

• The candidates must log in to the portal and register at the official website.
• Then the candidates will receive the login id and password that are required to fill out the online application form.
• The candidates are required to fill in all the necessary details in the NLU Meghalaya application form along with the Statement of Purpose (SOP).
• Finally, students need to pay the NLU Meghalaya application fee of Rs 3,000 except for the state-domiciled persons who are required to pay Rs 1,500.
• Lastly, click the submit button after verifying the details.

NLU Meghalaya UG Admissions 2024

The college offers B.A. L.L.B. (Hons.), B.B.A. L.L.B. (Hons.) and B.Sc L.L.B. (Hons.) at the undergraduate level.  The basic eligibility criteria to apply for the courses are that the candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 60% marks. The duration of NLU Meghalaya UG courses lasts for 5 years.

The college offers only L.L.M. Corporate Law at the postgraduate level. The duration of the NLU Meghalaya PG course is 1 year. The college offers L.L.M. in full-time mode only.

• The candidates must meet the NLU Meghalaya L.L.M. eligibility criteria to apply for the courses.
• The candidates must fill out the application form available on the official website.
• Then the candidates must appear and qualify for the NLU Meg Postgraduate Admission Test [MEG PAT].
• The candidates shortlisted from MEG PAT will be notified through SMS, Email, and WhatsApp.
• The candidate will be shortlisted based on their performance in MEG PAT.
• The shortlisted candidates must appear for the personal interview round where students will be marked based on their general proficiency, communication abilities, interest in pursuing the field, and knowledge of the subject.
• The final list of candidates for NLU Meghalaya PG admissions will be done based on the candidate's performance in the personal interview and the number of available seats.
• Finally, document verification will be done followed by the NLU Meghalaya fee payment.
