Raiganj University, Raiganj: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Raiganj University was established on February 3, 2015 as per the per Raiganj University Act (West Bengal Act XXVI of 2014). It s the foremost university in West Bengal and the first Unitary University in North Bengal that offers both under-graduate and post-graduate courses in its own Campus. Formerly it was known as Raiganj College and later on, it got upgraded to a university. Raiganj University confers the right to the University to receive funds from the Government of India and it is recognised by the University Grants Commission. The campus spreads over 13.62 acres of land. The university also has a second campus of 11.19 acres and its land was received from the State Government measuring.

Raiganj University is located at the university road, College Para, Raiganj in West Bengal. Raiganj is just around 3 km away from the university. Bagdogra Airport is around 150 km away from the varsity. The nearest bus depot N.B.S.T.C. Raiganj Depot is just a km away from the Raiganj University. 

 Clubs, Committees and Societies

• NSS - National Service Scheme is a public service programme that works for the upliftment and betterment of the society through community service. NSS programme conducted by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. The students serve society and help the underprivileged section of society so that they have the least amount of suffering and prosper in terms of education, good health, etc.

• NCC - National Cadet Corps of Raiganj University works to serve the nation and spread the spirit of patriotism and service for the nation amongst the young citizens. They are a part of various parades and celebrations of national festivals.
