Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural University (RLBCAU) was established in the year 2014 by an Act of Parliament. It was established under Department of Agricultural Research and Education (DARE). The University was named in the memory of a great freedom fighter Late Rani Lakshmi Bai. RLBCAU offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in agriculture and allied sciences.
RLBCAU is located near Pahuj Dam, ,Near IGFRI, Gwalior Road, Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh. Karari Railway Station is around 7 kms away and Datia Airport is around 29 kms away from the University. Students can take a bus or a cab to reach Rani Lakshmi Bai Central Agricultural university.

- Candidates have to fill an application form for admission to the University.
- For admission to B.Sc (Hons), candidates should qualify All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) conducted by Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi.
