Rani Rashmoni Green University or RRGU as it is professionally known, is a state university in Singur, West Bengal, was set up in the year 2018. This is a co-educational institution committed to the process of social transformation through socially responsible education. Recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), RRGU provides a plethora of postgraduate courses in Arts and Science Stream.
Rani Rashmoni Green University provides a variety of all-new structures that can meet the many facets of learning need of its patrons. The library of RRGU is fully equipped with the sets of the books and journals of the courses of study of the students so that they could get the enriched study kit. Modern laboratory facilities equipped with appropriate means and techniques allow working and studying scientific specialisations. There is a cafeteria for students in the campus which has both veg. And non veg. Options for fresh hygienic food. Another important aspect of transport which are offered by RRGU include transport for students and staff this helps improve on the access to campus. Spas are provided to encourage health, recreation and fitness within the population.
There are in all six full time postgraduate courses offered at Rani Rashmoni Green University including four in M.Sc. and two in M.A. The M.Sc. programmes are offered in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Nutrition and Public Health .The M.A. programmes offered are in English and Bengali.
