Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University Dehradun was established under the Uttarakhand Adhiniyam, 2016 (UK Act No. 35 of 2016), enacted by the Uttarakhand Legislature and assented to by the Honorable Governor in December 2016. Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University is a state private university accredited by the NAAC and approved by the UGC and the NBA.

Ras Bihari Bose Subharti University offers a variety of courses at different levels such as diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels in multiple disciplines. The courses available are GNM, D.Pharma, MBBS, BA, BCA, B.Sc, M.Com, MBA, M.Sc and many others. RBBSU admissions vary with the course.
