RCB Faridabad is a part of the Biotech Science Cluster (BSC) and works in tandem with the other institutions in the Cluster. The courses of RCB Faridabad are MSc PhD (integrated), PhD Biostatistics and PhD Bioinformatics. RCB Faridabad admissions for the M.Sc. and Ph.D Biotechnology integrated courses are based on a student's performance on the GAT-B as well as a personal interview.
For PhD admissions, students' performance in the nationally open written test and a personal interview conducted by the RCB Faridabad is considered. Regional Centre for Biotechnology scholarships for M.Sc and Ph.D Biotechnology (Integrated) Course- The candidates selected for M.Sc and Ph.D Biotechnology (Integrated) are entitled to receive Ramachandran-DBT fellowship of Rs. 16,000 per month for the first two years of the programme, after which the students must qualify junior/senior fellowships offered by CSIR, ICMR, DBT and other funding agencies. Regional Centre for Biotechnology scholarships for Ph.D programme in Biostatistics and Bioinformatics- The candidates selected for Ph.D programme in Biostatistics or Bioinformatics are entitled to receive a stipend of Rs. 45,000 per month for the first two years of the programme and Rs. 50,000 for the next three years.
