Sri Guru Ram Das University of Health Sciences, Amritsar: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Sri Guru Ram Das University of Health Sciences Amritsar was established in 2016 and is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a grade of 'A' in 2017. The SGRDUHS is recognised by the Indian Nursing Council (INC) and approved by UGC. The university offers various courses in multiple fields at four levels including diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D.courses. Before applying for a desired course, candidates should meet the SGRDUHS eligibility criteria. Admission to SGRDUHS Amritsar is through entrance examination which includes NEET UG/NEET PG or equivalent examination. 

The SGRDUHS admissions will be based on the scores obtained in the entrance examination and performance in past academics. The SGRDUHS Amritsar has a separate placement cell on campus to handle all the placement activities. The SGRDUHS placement cell acts as a bridge between the students and companies. The university is located on Mehta Road in Amritsar. The nearest bus stop is Qila Jiwan Singh Bus Stop, which is roughly 2 km from the university. Regular buses ply from various parts of Amritsar city to this stop. From there, you can take a rickshaw or auto-rickshaw to reach the university. Amritsar Junction railway station is approximately 5 km from SGRDUHS. Taxis and auto-rickshaws are available outside the station to take you to the university. Sri Guru Ram Dass Jee International Airport (ATQ) is the nearest airport located around 12 km from SGRDUHS. Taxis and app-based cabs are easily available at the airport for a comfortable journey to the university.
