Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing) is a 4- Year Undergraduate program that deals with imparting comprehensive knowledge and skills in nursing care based on the solution-oriented approach in the field of hospital management. The course is aimed at offering thorough knowledge and know-how basics of the profession.

It is focused on developing advanced thinking skills, critical care, proficiency, and values essential for the practice of professional midwifery and nursing. The program is specifically streamlined to equip students to address the health needs of the nation, society, and individuals in general. The program prepares students to become responsible practitioners by obeying a code of moral values and conduct at all times while accomplishing personal, social and professional responsibilities.

The programme promotes the practice of nursing by ensuring that every student acquires the ability to analyse, synthesise, and utilise knowledge gained while learning. The well-structured curriculum, inspiring projects, and diverse community serve as an excellent platform for students to build their skillset and obtain an exponential understanding of various significant subjects.

Eligibility Criteria

The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
Minimum education:
- 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board.
Student shall be medically fit.
Students appearing in 10+2 examination in Science conducted by National Institute of Open School with 45% marks.
Student shall be admitted once in a year.

Admission Details

Direct Admissions::
Candidates are selected on the basis of their marks scored in the Intermediate examination. After the board results are out, the college will release their cut-off scores. If candidates have scored more than or equal to the cut-off scores of the intended college, they will be eligible for enrollment at that institute.
Merit Admissions::
The second way for the admission of the candidate to this course is done on the basis of the entrance exam. In this pathway, candidates are selected on the basis of their marks scored in the entrance examinations of an institute.
