• Applications for admission in the first semester (Session 2023-25) of regular Post Graduate Courses in University Departments and Constituent Colleges under Vinoba Bhave University, Hazaribag are invited through the counselor’s portal. 

Vinoba Bhave University was established in the year 1992 with its headquarters at Hazaribag, the divisional headquarters of north Chhotanagpur division of the state of Jharkhand. The university is situated at a distance of 100 km from Ranchi. VBU is imparting post-graduate teaching and research in Life Science, Physical Science, Social Science, Earth Science, Commerce, Humanities, Technology, and Medical Science. VBU Hazaribag maintains and manages a total of 22 colleges. Prior to applying for VBU courses, candidates are required to satisfy the required eligibility criteria and should have a valid scorecard of entrance exams such as JEE Main, NEET, and NEET MDS.

Birsa Munda Airport which is also known as Ranchi Airport is the nearest one to the VBU campus. The distance between the airport to VBU Hazaribag is approximately 110 km which can be covered in around 2 and a half an hour. Also, the nearest railway station of VBU is Hazaribag railway station with a distance of 17 km, the distance can be covered within 17 mins.
