If you have uploaded your HSC document from Digilocker and it is valid, there should be no problem. Digilocker documents are accepted as original by most authorities.

If your college misplaced the original and it will take 15 days to get it, that’s okay. Just make sure the uploaded Digilocker document is clear and correct.

If you re-edit your application form, do it carefully and before the deadline. After editing, check that all documents are uploaded properly.

There should be no issue if your details are correct and documents are valid. Keep checking the official portal for any updates.

Since you completed both Class X and XII in Maharashtra, even without originally selecting " domicile " , you can claim Type A Maharashtra State candidature during MHT - CET CAP . This category applies when your qualifying exam was taken in Maharashtra, and you are domiciled in the state - meeting both criteria ( XII in Maharashtra and domicile certificate) . Even if you initially selected " open " , you can change your category to SEBC or corresponding state type at CAP registration , and thereafter , you will be eligible under the SEBC reservation in engineering admissions .

If your father is working in the UAE and you have completed all your schooling in India, you are still eligible to apply under the NRI quota for B.Tech admission, provided you can produce the required documents such as your father’s valid work visa, passport, proof of employment, and a sponsorship affidavit. Many private and deemed universities in India offer B.Tech admissions under the NRI quota, including institutes like VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology), SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Manipal Institute of Technology, and BITS Pilani (Dubai campus also available). Additionally, some state government colleges and central universities have a limited number of NRI or NRI-sponsored seats. Both the VIT Vellore and Manipal University Jaipur are excellent in their own branches of CS AI/ML in VIT and CSE in MUJ. However, the difference does exist if we compare further.

• VIT Vellore carries more reputation of being a renowned institute for engineering and thus offers better placements with slightly higher package.
• Manipal University Jaipur is much newly established as compared to VIT but also has placement exposure to MNC giants such as Amazon, Microsoft, Google etc.
• VIT is much more cost effective when it comes fee structure with total fees of B.Tech to be around 9 lakhs where as 15 lakhs of MUJ.
• The MUJ has best in class infrastructure as comparatively better infrastructure.

You should now decide based on your own preferences, you should also look which one is closer to your home for better reachability.

It depends on your priority. UPES Dehradun offers well-known specialized courses in Computer Science (AI, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing) and also has good linkages with the industry particularly in emerging technology fields. The placement statistics for niche fields is better, but the fees are generally higher.

Manipal University Jaipur, on the other hand, offers a well rounded but traditional CSE program, the Manipal brand and reputation, moderate faculty, and fast developing infrastructure. It's cheaper and gets a fair number of placements in core IT roles like Developer, Cloud Engineer, etc. If you are looking into specialized domains and have the money to spend, UPES may be the best option for you. If you are looking for a balanced value-for-money education with good placements, MU Jaipur is a solid alternative.
