66 MonthsBachelor of Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is a graduate degree awarded after the study of five and a half years duration, including a one-year internship, the course offered by Gujarat Ayurved University, Jamnagar, and approved by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM).
Eligibility Criteria
(A) Must have passed the higher secondary school certificate examination after 12 years of schooling with physics, chemistry, and biology subjects and minimum 50 percent of marks in PCB. Knowledge of Sanskrit is essential for admission. Must pass out Sanskrit either in 10th (SSC) or 12th (HSC).
(B) Any other equivalent course recognized by the Government and State Education Board.
