60 MonthsBachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) is a five-year full-time course with one year of compulsory internship offered by Anna University, Chennai, and approved by DCI.
Eligibility Criteria
- Have passed the qualifying exam under
Higher secondary examination or the Indian School Leaving Certificate Examination which is equivalent to 10+2 higher secondary examination after 12 years of study, the last two years of study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics or any other elective subjects with English at a level not less than the core course for English as prescribed by the National Council for Educational Research and Training after the introduction of the 10+2+3 years educational structure as recommended by the National Committee on Education.
Admission Details
Admission of students of dental is made strictly on merit based on an All India Examination (NEET) as prescribed by the MCI and UGC Regulations and in consistency with the National policy on this behalf from time to time.
