Aditya College of Teacher Training, Millampalli, is an NCTE-approved affiliated college for the purpose of training prospective teachers. The school is located in Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh, with admission arrangements for teacher training programs. Admission to the college is based on merit, following the policies of the State Government, UT administration, and the affiliated university.
Proposed candidates for a B.Ed., which is a two-year full-time course, should possess a bachelor's degree or other equivalent qualifications. The admission process, in accordance with existing admission policies, is based upon qualifying examination marks and/or entrance tests.
For the two-year full-time D.El.Ed programs, candidates also must satisfy eligibility criteria: the candidate must have completed higher secondary education (10+2) or equivalent. The admissions to these programs are strictly merit-based, considering the performance of the candidates in the qualifying examination or any other selection criteria as may be stipulated at the time.
Application Process
Announcement of Admissions: The announcement concerning the admission procedure is made through TV, newspapers, and pamphlets.
Application Form: Eligible candidates are asked to complete and submit the application form either through online facilitation or by way of physical collection from the suitable college admissions office.
Document Submission: The candidates should attach all required documents (generally a copy of the mark sheets of qualifying examinations- 10th, 12th, and graduation for B.Ed.; 10th and 12th for D.El.Ed), valid ID proof, passport-size photographs, and any other additional certificates/documents the college specifies along with the filled-in application form.
Entrance Examination: Depending on the existing admission policy, applicants may be required to take an entrance examination, further information on which, if it does occur, shall be provided by the college.
Preparing a Merit List: Based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination, a merit list is prepared.
Counseling and Seat Allotment: Shortlisted candidates shall be called for counseling and allotting seats on merit and preference.
Fee Payment: The selected candidates are required to pay the admission fee in order to secure their place.
Document Verification: The college will conduct an intensive verification of all submitted documents before conferring admission.
Degree-wise Admission Process
B.Ed:
The B.Ed program at Aditya College of Teacher Training is designed to train those in secondary schools' teaching. The merit-based admission process, based on marks secured in qualifying examination and/or entrance test, is merit-based. For this program, the college has set aside 100 seats. Eligible candidates must have completed bachelor's degree or equivalent, concerning their recognized University.
D.El.Ed:
The D.El.Ed program trains primary school teachers. Admission for this program is available on merit based on marks secured in the qualifying examination or any other set of selection criteria that could be applicable as per existing policies. The program intake is 100 seats. Candidates completing higher secondary education (10+2) or equivalent are eligible to apply.
