Amrutha College of Education at Mangaluru was set up in 2007, and is a reputed institution offering teacher training courses in Karnataka, India. This Mangalore University-affiliated co-educational institution aims at setting aspiring educators for the future. Located in a small area of 0.1 acres at Padil Junction, Mangalore, the college has 40 teachers and 10 permanent faculty members dedicated to moulding future teachers.

Amrutha College of Education offers many social amenities that are useful for achieving students’ personal and academic goals. A large hall with accommodation above 400 seated capacity is in the process of construction to accommodate seminars and functions. Amrutha College of Education confines itself to just the B.Ed programme, which invites 100 students for each batch. This is a two-year full course which is aimed at preparing students for a successful teaching profession by developing in them attitudes, knowledge, aptitudes and skills that are needed for successful teaching practices.
