Arihant PG College of Nursing, Haridwar, was established in the year 2011. Located at Shantershah, Haridwar, Uttarakhand, it is one of the prominent nursing institutes in this area. This co-educational affiliated college is approved by the Indian Nursing Council. The institution provides various programmes in the field of nursing. The compact 2-acre campus provides an ideal environment for aspiring healthcare professionals to grow.
Different types of facilities have been provided in the college to enrich the learning processes of its students. One knowledge hub is provided in the form of a well-stocked library with a large stock of books, periodicals, and journals pertaining to diverse disciplines. Arihant PG College of Nursing also provides internet access, thus allowing the students to be conversant with the latest developments in their respective courses. Practical training is also committed to with laboratories, like Fundamental Lab, Community Lab, OBG Lab, A.V Aids Lab, Science Lab, and CHN Lab. These facilities will provide hands-on experiences necessary for professional development. In addition, it has a computer laboratory with 20 branded computers and access to the internet. It emphasises the importance of information technology skills in modern health care. A health centre is located within the campus to cater to the health of the students through first aid facilities. It also encourages physical fitness and recreation facilities through its sports facilities.
Arihant PG College of Nursing offers courses in Nursing to suit all levels of education and areas of specialisations. The college offers 9 courses at undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma levels. Courses offered are Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery, GNM or General Nursing and Midwifery, B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, and M.Sc Nursing in various specializations like Community Health Nursing, Paediatric Nursing, Obstetrics and Gynecological Nursing, Psychiatry Nursing, and Medical Surgical Nursing.
