72 MonthsThe doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in Hindi Literature shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned. This Ph.D. program is offered by the University of Mumbai, Mumbai.
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate who is eligible for admission to the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Arts) must have passed the Master Degree Examination in relevant subjects of Arts (Hindi Literature) at the University of Mumbai or any other University recognized as equivalent thereto with at least 55% marks in aggregate (50% in case of reserved category) with the first attempt. The candidate has to qualify for the Ph.D. The entrance Test (PET) was conducted by the University of Mumbai. The candidate has to satisfy the conditions mentioned in the Vice-Chancellor's Directives (VCD), Exam. / Thesis / Univ. / VCD / 2414 of 2010.
