Ekashila College of Education, Warangal, is a reputed teacher education college. The college offers three main programs: B.Ed, M.Ed, and D.El.Ed with a total intake of 100 students. Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education):

The B.Ed program at Ekashila College of Education is approved for intake of 100 seats. The candidate is admitted to the B.Ed course on the basis of the performance of the candidate in the Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EDCET). The candidate is chosen on the basis of the qualifying examination marks and the marks secured in the entrance test. The candidate must meet the eligibility requirements as laid down by the state government and the college.

M.Ed (Master of Education):

Ekashila College of Education offers 50 seats for M.Ed course. The admission procedure for M.Ed is merit-based, i.e., on marks obtained in the qualifying exam and/or entrance exam. The selection procedure is followed by the college according to the policy of the state government, university, or UT Administration. Applicants with a B.Ed degree or equivalent degree can apply for M.Ed course.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education):

Ekashila College of Education takes 50 seats under the D.El.Ed scheme. The candidates are admitted into the course on a merit basis on the score obtained at the qualifying test and/or entry test. The selection procedure is in accordance with the policies framed by the UT Administration or the state government. The course is designed for candidates wishing to become teachers of primary schools.
