B.Ed (Bachelor of Education):
The B.Ed program in Gautama Buddha Teachers Training College, Hazaribag, as per approval, has an intake of 100 seats. The admission procedure in B.Ed is based on merit and needs consideration of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or in the entrance examination. The College follows the admission policy of the respective examining authority as set by the State Government of Jharkhand and the affiliated university. Consequently, the candidates may have to appear for an entrance test or any other selection process as per the prevailing norms. The B.Ed course aims at preparing students for a career in teaching in secondary and higher secondary stages.
D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education):
The D.El.Ed program also has an approved intake of 100 seats. Like the B.Ed program, admission to D.El.Ed is on a merit basis, taking into account the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or performance in the entrance examination. The selection process conforms with the rules and regulations laid down by the Government of Jharkhand or the concerned State Government/UT Administration. Candidates may have to appear for an entrance test or any other selection process as specified by the concerned authorities. The D.El.Ed program is aimed at preparing students for teaching at the elementary education level.
