Globsyn Business School (GBS) was founded in 2002 by Mr. Bikram Dasgupta. The institute is also known as GBS Kolkata in short. GBS offers two All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved programmes (PGDM & PGDM-Business Analytics). The GBS MBA (Global) programme offers specialization in International Business in collaboration with Malaysia University of Science and Technology. Admission to GBS Kolkata is based on candidates scores in one of the following entrance exam score: CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ CMAT/ ATMA/ JEMAT (varies from course to course). Since its inception Globsyn Business School has recorded optimum placements. The highest package offered in the GBS Placement Season 2023 was Rs 23.34 LPA and the average package offered was Rs 7.51 LPA. In the last academic year, over 100 national and international companies recruited students from the B-school. GBS Kolkata also offers scholarships to meritorious students from economically disadvantaged families.

Globsyn Business School Courses

The course list of GBS Kolkata consists of three postgraduate porgrammes like Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM), PGDM-Business Analytics and MBA (Global) in collaboration with Malaysia University of Science and Technology. The PGDM programmes are AICTE approved. The duration of all the three GBS Kolkata courses is 2 years. Globsyn Business School course fees for the PGDM is Rs 8.35 lakhs, for PGDM-Business Analytics programmes the course fees is Rs 8.65 lakhs and Rs 8.25 lakhs for MBA (Global) in collaboration with Malaysia University of Science and Technology course.

GBS Kolkata Admission

Globsyn Business School offers admission to postgraduate programmes only. Candidates meeting the PG programme eligibility criteria can apply for admission to GBS Kolkata PGDM, PGDM-Business Analytics and MBA (Global) in collaboration with Malaysia University of Science and Technology. For admission to GBS PGDM programme candidates must have a minimum three years Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from an university recognized, while for admission to PGDM-BA programme they must have minimum three years Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category) in the qualifying examination. Candidates should have completed Graduate in any discipline and have a valid score in CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ JEMAT for admission to GBS MBA (Global) in collaboration with Malaysia University of Science and Technology. Shortlisted candidates have to appear for GAT. On clearing the GAT exam they will be called for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview round. Globsyn Business School Scholarships

The institute offers two scholarships to the students. GBS Kolkata scholarships are Kalyani Scholarship and Outstanding Achievers Scholarship. The institute provides scholarships to students who have exceptional achievements in sports and arts. Furthermore, Globsyn Business School scholarships can be availed by students from financially weaker sections of the society. The college offers scholarships to a limited number of students only. Globsyn Business School has a scholarship committee that conducts an interview for selecting candidates. In order to apply for scholarships, students are required to fill the scholarship form of the college. 

GBS Kolkata Placements

Every year students of the college are placed in reputed organisations with handsome packages. Globsyn Business School placement drive is conducted smoothly without hindrance. The students of the college are well trained to make sure they are ready for the industrial challenges. The institute conducts industrial visits at regular intervals. The college also provides summer internships to the students. As per the GBS Kolkata placement 2023 report more than 1500+ job opportunities provides to GBS students from nearly 100 corporates in sectors like BFSI, Consulting & Services, Fintech, Research & Analysis, FMCG/ FMCD, and others. The highest CTC offered was Rs 23.34 LPA whereas the 2nd highest CTC was Rs 20.14 LPA and 3rd highest CTC was Rs 13.58 LPA. The average CTC was Rs 7.51 LPA. To ensure students do not face any difficulty during their time at the campus, the institute has a wide range of facilities. Globsyn Business School facilities are modern and upgraded.
