Degree wise Admission Process
B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): The B.Ed course offered at Government College of Education, Panvel remains a two-year full-time training program with a student intake of 50. Admission to the B.Ed program is solely on the merit basis, taking into account academic merit from the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The State Government and the allied University govern the admission processes in place. The B.Ed program is open, strictly speaking, only to candidates who possess an undergraduate degree or the equivalent from any recognized university.
M.Ed (Master of Education): The M.Ed program is again two years in duration and is full-time with 50 admissions. Admission to the M.Ed course is strictly on merit, based on the marks obtained in the qualifying B.Ed examination. This system ensures that candidates admitted to the M.Ed have the solid educational background and preparation for an advanced study in the area of education. In selecting candidates for this postgraduate course, the college has followed rigorous processes of selection.

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Teachers Education (NCTE) and offered by the University of Mumbai, Mumbai.
The Eligibility Criteria for this course is:
Candidates with at least 50 % marks either in the Bachelor Degree( three year programme) in B.A, B.Sc or 50% (49.50-49.99%) in post-graduation and for the reserved category (ST,SC,OBC,VJNT 1,2,3) 45% (44.50-44.99%) will be eligible. For B.Com, Management, Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, Agriculture, BBI, Pharmacy, Law, Fine Arts Performing Arts, Music, Dance, Drama with 55% marks at graduation or post-graduation will be eligible for open category and for reserved category 50%. Any other qualification equivalent thereof is eligible for admission to the program.
