Haindavi College of Education is one of the well-known teacher training colleges in the Anantapuram region of Andhra Pradesh, India. The college offers two important teacher education programs, the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program and the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). Like other affiliated colleges approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Haindavi College of Education has a merit-based admission process for prospective college students in accordance with the policies of the state's government and the affiliated university.

Application Process

3. Submission of Documents: Along with the application form to be submitted in full, candidates must submit the requisite documents, including:

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education):
The B.Ed. program, which is at Haindavi College of Education, is a two-year full-time program and has been set aside for 50 students. Enrollment in the B.Ed program will be done on merit basis either qualifying examination marks or entrance test marks conducted by the state government. The selection process will be followed as per policy laid down by the affiliated university and state government of Andhra Pradesh. Eligible candidates must have completed their university degrees at any discipline from a recognized university.

D.El.Ed. (Diploma in Elementary Education):
It is also a two-year full-time course comprising 50 seats. Admission to D.El.Ed. is made on merit ground considering the marks secured in qualifying (typically 10+2) or an entrance test as per the policy of the state government. It aims at preparing teachers for primary schools in which requisite theoretical understanding and practical teaching experience are gained.
