The admission mechanism of the Himalayan College of Education is merit-based, taking into account the marks obtained by the candidate either in the qualifying examination or in the entrance examination. Application Process
The process for applying to the B.Ed program at Himalayan College of Education, Rajouri, involves the following steps:

Degree wise Admission Process
B.Ed: The B.Ed program remains the flagship program at the Himalayan College of Education, Rajouri. It is a two-year full-time course involving training of students in preparation for a career in education.
The B.Ed admission procedure includes:
1. Selection on the basis of merit: The candidates are selected based on performance in the qualifying examination (bachelor's degree) and/or entrance examination.
2. Entrance Examination: The college may conduct, or consider in their selection, an entrance examination in the forms of either the CET (Common Entrance Test) or other such test.
3. Additional Criteria: Any other criteria, as stated by the Government of the state of J&K, Union Territory administration, or the university governing the College will equally apply for selection.
