Merit will be the basis for admission to this course, based either on the qualifying examination: Standard XII and enrolment under an entrance exam or any other selection process as determined by the state government. The course fee is Rs 23,200.
Ideal College of Education offers a D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) programme. Similar to the D.Ed. procedure works for D.El.Ed admission. Candidates get justified selection according to their performance in the qualifying examination and an entrance test or other processes, according to government policies.
Ideal College of Education offers a D.T.Ed (Diploma in Teacher Education) programme. D.T.Ed carries a bigger intake capacity with 100 seats. Here, an aggregate merit list is prepared solely on the basis of marks secured by the students in the Standard XII examination, where all the applicants, irrespective of caste or category, will be arranged in order of merit.
