Indian College of Education, Vellore Admission Process

Indian College of Education, Vellore, runs specialized teacher education courses at the undergraduate level and postgraduate level. The admission process of Indian College of Education is laid down based on merit through the rules laid down by the State Government, U.T. Administration, and affiliated University.

Normally, admission is based on the marks obtained at the qualifying examination. Application Process

There are several steps involved in the entire process of admission into Indian College of Education, Vellore :

Degree wise Admission Process

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed):
The B.Ed program at Indian College of Education, Vellore, is for 100 aspiring teachers who want to pursue a career in teaching. Merit-based procedure will be followed regarding admissions for this program on qualifying examination marks. Performance in the entrance examinations or any other selection process, according to the policy of the State Government, U.T. Administration, and the said University, will also be taken into account. Any bachelor's degree from a recognized university will suffice.

Master of Education (M.Ed):
There are 50 seats earmarked for the M.Ed program offered by the institution. This postgraduate program will have procedures for merit-based admission, where marks from the qualifying examination (which will generally be B.Ed) will be considered.
