The minimum marks required to get into Thapar University in is to have 20% marks in JEE Mains that is scoring minimum of 72 marks will make you eligible for admission.

But you will not getting any Core Branches.

Also if your marks are around 90 don't expect seat from direct counselling.

You will get seat during Final In-Person On the Spot Counseling.

I am giving you the cutoff of ranks and marks that were published by Thapar University:

Branch cutoff (outside punjab) cutoff (punjab)

Hello Ayush,

Both VIT and IET are extremely good Institutes. VIT is a private college while IET is a government college. VIT has several branches while IET is located in Lucknow. In regards to placements both the colleges are extremely good. VITs few structure is quite high while IET has lower fee structure in comparison. Admission to VIT UG programs is through VITEEE while admission to IET UG programs is through UPSEE.

Hey Yogesh

Mangalmay Institute of Engineering and Technology, Greater Noida is a private institution which comes under Mangalmay Group. Admissions in undergraduate programs is done through AKTU Counselling (for B.Tech).

The college has good infrastructure and very well equipped campus. It has an average academic record.  The college provides good environment and experienced faculty. The placements for B.Tech were 3.5 Lakhs per annum [Average] and approx 10 Lakhs per annum [Highest Package]. Also it is considered to have a very strong and connected Alumni network. If you have a better option, then do go for it nor Mangalmay Institution won't be a bad choice.

For further doubts, ask us.

I would suggest you to go for Institute of Engineering and Technology, Devi Ahilya University (IET–DAVV), Indore, Madhya Pradesh is a leading institute. The college is good in terms of infrastructure, academics. Even the placements records are better than Seksaria. More than 85% students get placed every year. Some of the recruiters are Capgemini, Wipro, MU sigma, Info Beans, Wipro etc.
