Hello student,

With an EWS rank of 27,950 and a CRL rank of 171,000 in JEE Main:

  1. IET Lucknow : Getting a seat in Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at IET Lucknow might be challenging with this rank, as their cutoff for CSE is typically higher. However, it's still worth checking the specific year's cutoffs during counseling.

  2. KNIT Sultanpur : KNIT Sultanpur might have more flexible cutoffs compared to IET Lucknow. You might have a better chance of securing a seat in CSE here, but it depends on the specific year’s cutoffs and competition.

  3. BIET Jhansi : BIET Jhansi generally has lower cutoffs compared to IET Lucknow and KNIT Sultanpur. You have a reasonable chance of securing a seat in CSE at BIET Jhansi.

Hey,

Predicting college is difficult as it depends on number of factors such as:

  • Number of candidates willing for a particular college and branch.
  • Home state, etc.

Now going with the previous year trend, closing rank for Computer Science was 44,602.

Your category rank is 50,000 but your general rank will be much higher. So chances of getting CSE in IET DAVV are quite less but there are chances that you might get other branches such as Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering, Civil Engineering.

To know more about cut-off of IET DAVV check the following link: https://www.careers360.com/colleges/institute-of-engineering-and-technology-devi-ahilya-vishwavidyalaya-indore/cut-off

These colleges are under AKTU so there might not be much differences and both are good for BTech. CSE. But there are few differences related to fee structure and placements.
1. The fee structure for NIET for BTech is approximately Rs. 4.5 Lacs to 6.5 Lacs while that of GL Bajaj is approximately Rs. 5.5 Lac.
2. NIET has secured #171 As per 2021 NIRF ranking and GL Bajaj secured #194 rank.
3. Placements- The highest package offered by NIET was INR 30 LPA for CSE and By GL Bajaj was INR 33 LPA.
Both the colleges are equally good for BTech CSE, so you can choose any.
