Admissions to the undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the academic year of 2023-2024 are open for eligible candidates through JNNCE Shimoga admissions portal.
Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering, Shimoga which is also known as JNNCE Shimoga was established in the year 1980 by the National Education Society (NES). JNNCE courses are provided at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels in a total of 24 specialisation programmes in BE, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Sc, and Ph.D degree courses. JNNCE fee structure for the UG and PG courses ranges from Rs 2,50,000 to Rs 6,32,000. JNNCE admissions are done on the basis of entrance exams followed by a round of counselling. The entrance exams accepted by the institute are COMEDK UGET, KCET, PGCET, URLA, and GATE of the candidates who meet the JNNCE eligibility criteria.
