Jawaharlal Nehru New College of Engineering, Shimoga, which is also known as JNNCE, was established in the year 1980 by the National Education Society (NES). JNNCE has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an ‘A’ grade, and recognised by UGC. JNNCE is also affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi (VTU Belagavi).
Jawaharlal Nehru New College of Engineering has been approved by AICTE. The courses offered by Jawaharlal Nehru New College of Engineering Shimoga are at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels in a total of 28 specialisation programmes. The infrastructure at JNNCE is pretty good — the campus is spacious, classrooms are decent, and the labs have what you need. Some areas could be updated, but overall it feels comfortable and student-friendly.
This college is so good in a classroom facilities and digital teaching and quality of facultism, and it also provides the canteens and separate are stles for the boys and girls and it provides the WI. Fi facility for the students .
