    About Jawaharlal Nehru New College of Engineering, Shimoga

    Jawaharlal Nehru New College of Engineering, Shimoga, which is also known as JNNCE, was established in the year 1980 by the National Education Society (NES). JNNCE has been accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with an ‘A’ grade, and recognised by UGC. JNNCE is also affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi (VTU Belagavi). 

    Jawaharlal Nehru New College of Engineering has been approved by AICTE. The courses offered by Jawaharlal Nehru New College of Engineering Shimoga are at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels in a total of 28 specialisation programmes. JNNCE courses include BE, M.Tech, MBA, MCA, M.Sc, and Ph.D degree courses.
