Khargram College of Education, Murshidabad was established in the year 2016. It is a co-educational college and is located right at the heart of West Bengal. The affiliated college has been approved by the National Council for Teacher Education and strictly focuses on programs in the field of teacher education. Approved intake for the college in both programs is the same; thus, it has 200 seats for both courses put together. These courses were being offered so that the career goals for the students would turn out to be successful in order to step into teaching as a profession, and the skills and knowledge acquired will be dispersive in nature for teaching as a profession.

Admission to Khargharom College Education is based on merit by marks obtained in the Qualifying Examination and/or Entrance Examinations.
