Master of Science in Fashion technology and Costume Design s a two year course that concentrates on imparting professional knowledge and expertise in the field of garment design and manufacturing technology. It provides students an opportunity to learn and gain expertise in the field of fashion and apparel designing. The course focuses on cultivating aesthetics and fashion sense on students and facilitate them to strive to excel in understanding the application of the same in areas of technology and management of apparel manufacturing and development.

The course offers students opportunity to develop skills and principles on making “Strategic Fashion Solutions”, design, pattern making, construction of high quality finish garments and so on. The course makes students to understand all apparels across genders and different age groups and offers further specialization such as embroidery, knitwear, tailoring and innovative pattern cutting as a practicing fashion designer. The course makes students understand fashion and its relation to various culture and societies and its evolution with the advancements in modern technology. At the end of the course students will become professionally well-versed with various concepts of Fashion Technology and Costume Design.
