Maharaja Aggarsain College of Education, presently in Bathinda, was established in the year 2006 and is one of the leading institutions in the field of education in Punjab. This co-educational college of the state university emphasisesteacher education programmes. Approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the institute offers two full-time courses: B.Ed and MA Education. Situating a total enrolment of 194 students and having a faculty strength of 11 it offers a niche environment for budding educators. The campus located in Badal Road, Jai Singh Wala, Bathinda, was established to provide a centre for learning and development in the area.
