MAHAS Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology, Solan is one of the budding Institute which was established in the year 2013. Sited in Atal Shiksha Kunj, Village Kalujhanda, Baddi, Solan district of H.P, this institute has come into lime light within a short span of time because of its intellectual output in engineering and technical education. MAIT Solan is authorised by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and is a constituent college. It is a member of the Anna University and has 73 faculty members, with programmes given in all the undergraduate and doctoral levels in the field of Computer Science, Mechanical, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, and Civil Engineering.

This campus of Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology Solan has unparallel infrastructural facilities to help the students have a delightful academic experience. Some of the facilities of the institute include fully wireless computerised campus, Internet is always available for support of the activity. While the general library is a textual and digital treasure trove of tutorial, reference, periodical and journal works, the central library is geared towards giving students a comprehensive knowledge base. The college includes an extramural facility with an auditorium and an open air theatre for various artistic activities and performances. Sport lovers get to enjoy sports grounds for both outdoor and indoor activities such as cricket, volley ball, football, basket ball and good standard ground for athletic activities contains a very equipped gym. There is a total of 8 programmes offered by MAIT Solan, for two levels of education, for undergraduate and doctors level. The Diploma courses are four-year full time programmes. The institute will have total 270 sanctioned intake for Diploma programmes; out of which Computer Science and Engineering has the maximum sanctioned intake of 120. The other Diploma programmes such as Mechanical, Civil, Electronics & Communication, Beauty Culture, Electrical & Electronics Engineering have their intakes set between 30 & 60 for each.

Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology (MAIT), Solan, is a constituent college of Atal Shiksha Kunj, Village Kalujhanda, Baddi, Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. The institute provides a total of 8 B.Tech and doctoral courses. The B.Tech courses have a total of 270 sanctioned seats, out of which Computer Science and Engineering have the highest number of intakes of 120 seats.
