Rajiv Gandhi Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya, Jalkot is a premier institution providing quality standard in teacher education. Admission process in Mahatma Phule Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya is simplified for deserving candidates in B.Ed and M.Ed courses. This institutes of merit consents admissions basing on the candidate's performance in qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The entire admission process follows the policies laid down by the state government and UT Administration and affiliated university.  The NCTE approves both programmes and meets national standards in teacher education. Application Process

1. Application Form: The candidate is required to collect and fill in the application form, which can be done either online from the college website or from the college campus.

2. Submission of Documents Filled application forms, together with all necessary documents, should now be submitted, including:

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed: Mahatma Phule Adhyapak Mahavidyalaya, Jalkot has an intake of 100 students against the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program. Different from that of other courses, merit admission determined by candidate's performance in the qualifying examination and/or an entrance examination controls the intake to the B.Ed program. The guidelines of government selection would be as defined by the state government, UT Administration, and the university. NCTE and the affiliated university prescribe eligibility criteria which must be met by candidates.

M.Ed: Master of Education (M.Ed) is a program that has its 50 places for aspiring leaders in education and researchers. Another merit system, based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or the entrance examination, will also be adopted for this M.Ed admission process. It is also according to the processes of selection defined by the state government, UT Administration, and university. Concerning eligibility requirements, those specified by NCTE and the affiliated university for postgraduate teacher education programs need to be fulfilled by the applicants.
