Candidate should have obtained at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for candidates who belong to the SC/ST category) or an equivalent grade in the following programmes namely, B.Ed, 4 year Integrated BA B.Ed, B.Sc, B.Ed, B.EL.Ed, D.EL.Ed. with a UG degree (with 50% marks in each) is the eligibility criteria for the M.Ed programme at MIER College of Education, Jammu.

 Candidates must have passed the UG Degree Examination with Education as an elective/ additional subject with minimum 40% aggregate marks (36% marks for the SC/ST category candidates) is the eligibility criteria for the MA programme at MIER College of Education, Jammu.

Candidates should have passed the UG Degree and/or PG Degree examination with minimum 50% aggregate marks (45% marks for SC/ST category candidates) in the Faculty of Arts, Science, Social Science, Commerce or Faculty of Music and Fine Arts from the University of Jammu or any recognised University or should have passed the Bachelor’s Degree examination of four year duration is the eligibility criteria for the B.Ed programme at MIER College of Education, Jammu.

 The duration of all the programmes which are being offered by MIER College of Education, Jammu at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level is 2 years.

MIER College of Education, Jammu offers the B.Ed, B.Ed Special Education programme at the undergraduate level and offers the M.Ed, M.Ed Special Education and MA programme at the postgraduate level. The college also offers the Ph.D Education programme at the doctoral level to the students.
