Mysore College of Engineering and Management (MYCEM) has its roots in Mysore, in Karnataka, and is one of the premier institutes offering various undergraduate engineering courses. The admissions procedure of MYCEM has been formulated so that the admission of candidates into its seven full-time BE programs is done based on a systematic process and relies mainly on the two common entrance tests: the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) and the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET).
Usually, this whole process is applied in the academic year and the admission processes begin in the preceding months before starting the academic session, typically between April to May for KCET, while that for COMEDK UGET typically occurs in May. Students, thus, need to check the official web pages of these entrance exams to know the exact date and deadline.
KCET and COMEDK UGET would be testing students on subjects learned at the 10+2 level in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Holders of aspiring minds must therefore go through reading the whole syllabus for the exams and practice as much as possible in solving past years' question papers.
