PSG College of Education offers a D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) programme. This is also a two-year full-time programme, approved for a student intake of 50. Admission to the D.El.Ed programme is also made purely on a merit basis, taking into account the marks attained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. Candidates qualifying for eligibility to join the D.El.Ed. are those who have passed the higher secondary examination (10+2) or the equivalent examination. The selection process follows that prescribed by the state government and the university to which the college is affiliated.
