    You have not mentioned which state you belong to. With a rank of around 400 in SC category, you have chances of procuring a seat in the NIT's when comparing the results of previous years. But, it largely depends on your home state. Other state quotas are not

    As per previous cut off of Jee main paper 2 /b arch college , there is no chance of getting good nit for architecture . Only there is a chance of getting nit hamipur .

    The amdission and councelling process for JEE Mains paper 2 is same as paper 1.

    You need to register yourself into the JoSAA counselling process and list the colleges according to your preferences. Colleges will be allotted to you according to your ranks and preferences.

    If you are in general , obc category then you should score minimum 75% in cbse board for admission in nit. Or if you are in sc St category then you should have score 65% then you are elligible .

    You can get B.Arch admission through counseling.
    You have to wait till the announcement for the counseling any fill your choices according to your preferences.

    Sorry to say but with 18000 rank it's not possible to get admissions into NITs for B. Arch. 

    IITs and NITs have their closing rank around 9k to 10k for the final rounds. 

    As of now what you can do is to apply for your state's admission process.

    Congrats for scoring such a good score,it is indeed a very good score but iam sorry to tell you that it is not possible for you to get B.Arch in NIT calicut with this score as the cutoffs in NIT Calicut for B.Arch is really very high but
