I would like to sadly inform you that with a score of 174 in PAPER 2 you hardly have any chance of getting NIT. You have less chances of even getting a private college.What i suggest you is to reappear for the exam next year with good preparations if you really want NIT.

I think your rank is something above 40,000. Actually there is only 1000 below seats in jee paper 2. And getting a seat with this mark will be very hard task.
Jee only provide less b.arch seat and the remaining huge seats are filled by NATA

Your rank vill be almost above 12k and there is only 1k below seats in jee paper 2.
Its better to try NATA

Hello dear,

if you are asking about NIT then cut off for admission in NITs for Barch is upto a rank of 5000 for home states and 2500 for other states as per previous year cut-off. if you are asking abput CFTI then For CFTIs it is a rank of 6000 for home state and 3500 for other states.

Sorry to inform you but the last cut off for last year was about 10000 at NIt Hamirpur.

The chances are less bit you may try as there are chances you could get through second or third round.

The previous years cutoff rank for B arch in BIT Mesra is Opening rank 180 and Closing rank is 398 for the students of home state and the cutoff for other state or open state is 63. Wait for your rank and try your luck the cutoffs may vary for this year, All the best.
