Our college infrastructure is very good and well maintain. Everything is available in our college campus. Darrang college have the best infrastructure in our city it is one of the best college which have best infrastructure in our state Assam. Our college have different building for different streams such as science, commerce and arts. we have our own playground, our own library which have three floor which have divided into three different streams science, commerce and arts. we have our own canteen and have common room for both boys and girls and for teachers also. our college have both boys and girls hostel.

In our time B.A Bengali honours course was a 3 year programme. Our college professors were very knowledgeable and helpful. History of bengali literature, poetry drama, novels , short friction , essay were the cour part of B.A Bengali honours syllabus in our time.

The placement of Serampore college under Calcutta University was moderate. Some of my batchmates secured their job in some private school or private coaching centers. But I completed M.A Bengali from the Calcutta University to get a Government job in any school.
