I am a TY engineering student, studying engineering as i want to do something innovative and academics here are mostly theory- oriented. Some teachers explain concepts clearly and are supportive, while others focus mainly on syllabus completion. Labs help in understanding subjects. The syllabus follows university guidelines but does not always include the latest industry trends. Students need to rely on self-study, online courses, and projects to gain additional skills. Academics are average and depend a lot on individual effort.

Placements are average in the college. A few companies visit the campus every year, mostly offering entry-level or mass recruitment roles. Students from IT and Computer branches get better opportunities compared to core branches. The highest package offered is around ₹10 LPA, while the average package is around 5 LPA. The placement cell provides basic training like aptitude sessions, but students need to prepare on their own for better results.

Campus life is calm and routine-based. There are technical and cultural events, but they are not very frequent. Students generally get along well with each other. Faculty and staff are cooperative. The college location is safe and easy to reach. Campus life is simple, without much crowd or pressure.

The placement cell provides basic training and updates, but strong outcomes require students to prepare on their own.

As a first-year student, I find the infrastructure to be good overall. Classrooms are spacious, and most of them are comfortable for long lectures. Laboratories are modern, but since FY students have limited lab initially, not all facilities are used fully in the first year. The library is large and well maintained, though finding some reference books during exams can be difficult due to high demand. Wi-Fi is available across campus, but cannot be connected sometimes. The campus is clean and pleasant, which creates a good learning environment and food is very good and hygienic.

I am studying engineering in IT since it was my dream from childhood. Academics in the first year focus mainly on basics. Some professors explain concepts clearly and are approachable, which helps new students adjust. However, a few subjects feel rushed, and the teaching style is more theory-based. The syllabus is structured but can feel heavy for students coming directly from school. Self effort is very important to be job ready here.
Placements
Since I am an FY student, I have only observed placement-related activities from seniors. The placement cell seems active and organizes talks and guidance sessions early on. From what seniors share, placement opportunities are decent.Around 65-70% students get placed and highest package was around 58 LPA appx and average package around 9-10 LPA. However, placements depend a lot on individual skills, projects, and internships rather than only college support.

Campus life is very active and engaging. There are many clubs, events, and activities that help students socialize and explore their interests. The campus is safe and well connected by transport. However, managing academics along with activities can be stressful at times.

As an FY student, my experience so far has been mixed but positive. The transition from school to college takes time, but the environment is supportive.

AUSIB has decent infrastructure. Classrooms are big and comfortable, and the campus is clean and calm. There is a computer lab, but students don’t get to use it often, so most use their own laptops. The library and internet are available. Hostels and food places are nearby, which is convenient for students.

Academics can be challenging. Teachers are knowledgeable and supportive, but the schedule is very tight. During semester exams, papers are held continuously with no proper gaps. The syllabus is large and needs regular self-study.
Placements
College does not offer campus placements. The college does not arrange placement drives, so students must search for jobs by themselves. Most students rely on internships, contacts, and applying outside the campus. Getting a job mainly depends on your own skills and effort, not on college help.

Out of 1000 students in a batch the college selects only 100 - 150 students for placement and I would suggest that if someone is coming In this college in terms of placement then you should opt for any other good college.

Placement support is active but varies by branch. IT, Computer Science, Al/ML and related fields see better recruiters compared some core streams. The placement cell arranges training, guest sessions, and interview prep, which helps a lot. The average package is around ₹5-6 LPA, and the highest packages go up to ₹17-18 LPA . However, not every student gets a top job - placement often depends on personal preparation and skills.

Campus life is simple since the university mainly has one main building. There are very few big fests, but many active clubs and cultural activities. Students get regular chances to participate through clubs, making campus life engaging in a smaller way.Teachers and staff are mostly approachable, and the location in Pune is safe with good transport options. College Infrastructure
The university is spacious, green, and big, but the facilities are average, especially in the science department. Let’s start with the basics: fans and lighting. Half of the fans are non-functional, never maintained, and left malfunctioning. Except for a few lights, most are non-functional or outdated, with only a bare minimum number of lights working for a functional classroom. Next is the drinking water facility. Most of the water coolers and filters are malfunctioning and poorly maintained, with only a few in working condition. Next are the toilets. Most of them are barely maintained, leaving only a few in somewhat usable condition, that too in different departments. Gardens are never maintained. Labs are okayish. Not state-of-the-art, but good enough to conduct most practicals. The central library is useless. We are not allowed to select books freely, and we must already know the exact book we need, and those books are mostly unavailable. The server for the borrowing system is mostly down. Though every department has its own library, and they are good. The university has free parking, which is good. Exceptional cases are the Maths, Physics, and Botany departments, which are the best maintained. Departments with self-financed courses are also maintained well, for example, agriculture and biotechnology departments. The Arts department is the least maintained. Departments have good Wi-Fi facilities, and most classes have functional smart boards. The university lacks a proper canteen, although it has the infrastructure for one. Sports arenas are good but mostly locked. Hostel facilities for girls are okayish and much better than those for boys. The boys’ hostel is just plain bad!

Academics are decent. Professors are regular and sufficiently knowledgeable about their subjects. However, they fall short in the case of practicals. Average lab facilities add to this, causing students to lack practical knowledge compared to central universities. The university lacks transparency in exam marks. Students are unaware of how they perform in their exams, which makes it difficult for them to analyze and calibrate their performance for the next exam. Students are also unaware of the marks they obtain in internal assessments. Things are taken very casually in the case of bachelor’s courses. However, in master’s courses, professors teach more seriously.
Placements
Campus placements are almost non-existent in the university, though the Vice Chancellor is trying to improve the placement scenario. The university offers professional courses such as BCA, MCA, MBA, B.Tech, etc., but I have never heard of any on-campus placements yet. Some placement-related news that one may hear about is usually off-campus, and the university has little to no role in it. Such placements should be credited to professors’ contacts and students’ calibre. Other departments such as Arts, Science, and Commerce have never seen any placements in their history, and things do not seem to be improving anytime soon for these departments. However, things might improve for the professional courses mentioned earlier.
This college just provided me a degree nothing else.

This college barely meets the definition of having “infrastructure.” Most facilities exist only on paper and in admission brochures. Classrooms are cramped, poorly maintained, and feel like they haven’t been upgraded in years. Labs either lack basic equipment or have machines that don’t work half the time. The library is outdated, internet connectivity is unreliable, and common areas are neglected. What’s advertised as “modern facilities” is just the bare minimum stretched beyond its limit. Maintenance is reactive, not proactive, and students are expected to adjust instead of the institution improving. Calling this adequate infrastructure is an exaggeration at best and a lie at worst.

Academics here are a complete disappointment and feel like an afterthought rather than the core purpose of a college. Most faculty members rely on outdated notes, recycled slides, and rote teaching methods that actively discourage critical thinking. Doubts are brushed aside, syllabus completion is treated as an achievement, and genuine academic curiosity is quietly punished. The curriculum feels stagnant, disconnected from industry or modern developments, and students are left to self-study if they want any real competence.

Placements here are practically nonexistent, and calling this a “placement cell” is an insult to functional systems everywhere. Companies rarely visit, and when they do, they offer low-effort roles with laughable packages that go nowhere. There is zero career guidance, no resume support, no serious industry connections, and absolutely no accountability. Students are left scrambling on their own while the college shamelessly inflates numbers using off-campus drives and irrelevant internships. Final-year students graduate with degrees and anxiety, not jobs. This place does not prepare you for employment—it abandons you and hopes you won’t complain too loudly.

I am having a great and amazing experience at my college. The campus has a clean and green environment. The infrastructure is well developed, the management is properly organized, and all facilities are well maintained. The food hygiene standards are also very good.

I am pursuing the B.El.Ed. program to become a teacher, and it has been a great learning experience. The program emphasizes practical learning along with theoretical knowledge. Regular school visits and teaching practice help us gain hands-on experience. The curriculum is well updated and highly effective.

I have heard that our college is one of the top colleges in terms of placements. The highest placement package was 44 lakh per annum, received by a student from the Economics department. Although the placement packages in our B.El.Ed. department are not as high, the overall placement record of the college is very good.
