Garware College has great facilities including a fantastic level of cleanliness and upkeep at the BBA college campus building. Every classroom in the BBA building at Garware College was also very spacious and the BBA building contains many essential digital features such as projector screens and digital devices.

I did as most student do BBA. The teachers at Garware College have the necessary credentials and expertise to teach and provide quality instruction for their students. They also provide students with numerous opportunities to gain additional knowledge through a variety of different types of lectures and student exposure activities. Faculty members tend to be accommodating towards their students. Additionally, the overall quality of the curriculum is very good. Because Garware College is an autonomous institution, the college has its own planned ccurriculum
Placements
The placement at Garware College isn't exceptional, the overall quality is still good. There is a lot more emphasis on internships than on full-time employment opportunities. The individual placement cells run by each teacher tend to focus on finance, but some placements for students interested in marketing do exist.

Garware College of Arts and Sciences provides a polite and acceptable level of campus living. The campus provides a pleasant environment for socialising as it is well-maintained and kept clean. Campus life at Garware College is active with many activities and events taking place, including guest speakers and cultural activities beyond just academic classes. While there are no major events or festivals held at this college, the campus does provide opportunities for students to participate in a variety of activities, so there is an appropriate balance between study and leisure activity available.

The infrastructure of our college is average. It’s not very good. We don’t have proper canteen facilities, and some buildings are broken or very old. Although there are renovations, they will take some time. Overall, the infrastructure is average.Classroom facilities are average. WiFi is only available in libraries.
Academics
Teachers are helpful, but not all teachers are the same; some do favouritism depending upon who is in the council and who is not. All the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also good, and they explain all the topics thoroughly. The exam pattern is also good. I did Bachelors in Business Administration (Honours).
Placements
Placement at my college is average some students get good placements while others do not. If you work hard during your college days you can maximize your package to 5 to 6 lakhs. Otherwise you might only get 1 lakh placement and even then it is not guaranteed. But the roles for which company comes are different. College councilor helps in navigating through the options.

I am someone who wanted to pursue my career in marketing. You get some good business insights through this course and can build a good network. Firstly, focus more on practical and skill-based modules and lectures. There are two events named Miraj and Kiran

College Infrastructure
Lady Brabourne College, is basically a mix of versatile aacademics with a very old school vibe. The campus is actually one of the greenest spots in the city. The libraries are genuinely impressive, quiet, well-stocked, and probably the best place to actually get some studying done. Some of the newer parts, like the RC building, even have air-conditioned rooms and smart boards which feel pretty modern. But once you’ve been there for a semester, the cracks start to show. The science labs are okay for the syllabus, but a lot of the equipment feels like it hasn’t been updated in decades. The gym and the basketball court look good in photos, but in reality, they’re often overgrown or just poorly maintained, so nobody really uses them. The worst part is definitely the washrooms. Most students agree they are in terrible shape—often unsanitary, smelly, and just generally neglected. It’s a huge contrast to the beautiful building outside. Then there’s the drinking water situation; the filters are constantly breaking down, so you end up having to buy your own bottles. If you’re staying in the hostel, it feels more like a boarding school than a modern college. The lighting is dim, the rooms are dated, and the rules are so strict that you can’t even use basic electronic gadgets. It’s a great college for the "brand name," but the daily facilities definitely need a major upgrade.

Academically, Lady Brabourne College is easily one of the most prestigious spots under Calcutta University. If you’re in the Geography, Economics, or English departments, you’re in good place. The professors are top-tier—most of them are highly published researchers—and they genuinely care about the subject. The curriculum is rigorous, and the college library is a goldmine for anyone who actually wants to study. However, the academic pressure can be intense. The college is very old-school about rules; if your attendance drops below the 75% mark, they are not lenient at all. It often feels like you’re back in school because of the constant internal assessments and the strict discipline. The syllabus is huge, and the professors move fast. If you miss a week of classes because of an illness, good luck catching up. They expect you to be a scholar from day one, which is mentally draining. The internal marking is notoriously stingy. The departments follows a very traditional, strict grading system. It makes it harder to compete with students from private universities who get high scores easily. There are no workshops for modern skills like data analysis or professional writing. If you don't plan on doing a Master's or a PhD, the academic style here feels a bit disconnected from the real world.
Placements
Most students here are focused on getting their degrees and moving on to Master's programs at top universities like CU, Jadavpur, or even going abroad. If you're looking for a big corporate campus drive, this probably isn't the place. While companies like TCS, Infosys, and Cognizant do visit occasionally, the number of students actually getting placed is very low, often just a handful each year. The placement cell is more about career counseling and workshops than actual job offers. The college brand is great for your CV if you're applying for higher studies, but for direct jobs, it’s basically non-existent. You’re lucky if even two companies show up for your department. Don't come here expecting a package. The placement cell is pretty inactive and mostly just shares info about government exams or external seminars. You have to find your own internships and jobs off-campus. If you're in a general BA or BSc course, there is zero support for placements. The focus is 100% on theory and exams. It’s frustrating when you see students in other colleges getting at least some basic job offers.
Campus Life
While it’s an all-girls college with a very safe, anti-ragging environment, the overall social scene is quite demure compared to other big Kolkata colleges. You’ll have the annual fest, "Kaleidoscope," and some departmental freshers, but don't expect a party every week. The social life is honestly a bit boring. There are very few clubs, and unless you're into NSS or NCC, there’s not much to do outside of lectures. If you want an 'exciting' college life, you'll be disappointed. The canteen is a major letdown. The space is too small for the number of students, and the food quality is very hit-or-miss. Most of us end up going to the nearby Nescafe stall or eating outside the gates because the main canteen isn't great. The authority is super back-dated. You have to follow a strict dress code, and the overall atmosphere is very restrictive. It feels like you’re being constantly monitored rather than enjoying your freedom as an adult.

My college doesn't have the fancy infrastructure but it can be adjustable. If we talk about facility everything will be provided but it will be like too antique as the college is antique. But you will gain experience how to survive without any coaching and get to meet talented individuals. Classroom is also old but it's too large it can accommodate 150 people in a single class. Wifi. is available but it also need maintaince. No sport centre is available. A proper guide us required for sport. Library also need techy update. Smart board is not available. The food is hygienic and college campus is not clean like it's need cleaning.

I was studying n.com finance the teaching quality is not upto mark but some faculty were top notch and the curriculum is updated and all development feed also get updated and make you field ready. Still a reputed and over hyped college

The placement quality is not upto mark like you will get bpo jobs and the pay is also less you will need to sell insurance or you will get a typing job as I choose b.com finance but the job that came was like it was a bank but we need to sell policy and the salary is like 22k . But faculty help you get placed if you are interested and process is not hard to get placed

Campus Life is boaring but you will get free meal because of political parties they are good and student oriented. But the fest are amazing like fresher but you need to pay it. Staff is good and location is good all type of food is available near the college and also pg yes it can handle emergency

I studied MBBS at my college and it does offer other courses in our college like BSC Nursing, JNM nursing, paramedical. Academics is taken very seriously here and the students are tested for every upcoming semester via formative assessments which are assessed properly via the faculties. Faculty at the institute is great and is easily approachable at the time of doubt.

It's a college which provides placement according to the merit. There's a campus placement option via which just after completing the internship here we can apply for such jobs. There is option of in-house jr ship after completion of internship. Package offered at the place is average (better packages might be available outside) . Around 70% of people who aren't preparing for post graduation exam r getting their placement immediately after completion of the internship in this college

We do have a lot of co curricular activities in the campus. We have a gym and is very easily approachable by all hierarchy of residents in the campus. We have fest which is very well conducted also we have a lot of sports going on in the campus all round the year which are like tournament and is conducted in an interview college fashion.

DG Ruparel has a very spacious and green campus, which is a rare thing in Mumbai. If we compare it with other colleges, then it is a huge advantage to have so much space and a ground. The atmosphere around the campus is also calm and not too crowded. The infrastructure looks old school, but it also looks a bit outdated.

The academic experience at Ruparel was a little of a transition. The focus is more on the basics, and the professors are experienced but have a traditional way of teaching. This is actually beneficial as they focus more on concepts and understanding the “why” behind things.

Ruparel's placements are a bit patchy, depending on the course you take. They are a good college, especially for Science and Commerce, and some good companies do come for placements, so you really need to be on the ball and keep checking the placement updates yourself. Ultimately, it depends

Life at Ruparel is pretty chill, and it’s mostly about hanging out with your friends on campus. A lot of time is spent just hanging out, especially at the common spots and canteen, which have a nice, friendly atmosphere and feel like a tight-knit community.

College Infrastructure
SIES graduate school of technology has a compact but fairly well maintained campus with a four floor academic block, modern labs, a canteen, library and basic sports like basketball and indoor games court. The lab and seminar halls are strong point with updated equipment and reliable connectivity. There is no major playground or outdoor sports infrastructure.
Academics
Academics is where SIES GST Shines it focuses on solid foundations in engineering with a decent mix of theory and practical exposure, especially through well equipped labs and regular assignments or mini projects. Faculty are generally knowledgeable and are approachable.
Placements
Placements at SIES GST are considered one of its key strengths especially for CS/IT and related branches, with a good number of companies visiting for mass recruitment every year. Recent data and reviews mention median average package to be around 3-6LPA.
