The college infrastructure is decent not too bad but not good, the college has the basic infrastructure and facilities needed for students. The classrooms are clean and have proper seating, projectors and fans. The labs are fairly well equipped for practical work, though some instruments can be updated. The hostel rooms are decent, kept clean, and the food is mostly hygienic, though the taste varies at times. Overall, the facilities are satisfactory for regular academic needs

The academics are good , faculty member are well educated and helpful I'm currently studying MBA MS integrated because I’m genuinely interested in the subject and it aligns with my career goals. The quality of teaching is good overallmost faculty members explain concepts clearly and try to make the classes engaging. Some teachers go the extra mile to help students, while a few classes can feel a bit fast or theoretical. But on the whole, the learning experience has been positive and helpful. In my experience, the curriculum is somewhat up-to-date but not completely cutting edge. There are core courses that cover the latest developments in the field, but some electives or modules feel a bit outdated or theoretical.

The quality of placements at my college is decent, but it’s not perfect. Based on what I’ve seen: around 60-70% of students manage to get placed through campus drives. The highest salary package offered varies a lot in my department, the top was about ₹8–10 LPA, though for some specialized courses or top students it might go higher. As for the average salary, I’d estimate it to be around ₹4–6 LPA, again depending on the branch. The placement process was okay not super easy, but not terrible either. There were a fair number of company visits, pre-placement talks, and mock interviews

The academic environment of the university is supportive and well organized for learning. The PHARMACY curriculum is properly planned and helps us understand both the basic and advanced topics of the pharmaceutical sciences. each subject is taught step by step so that i can build a strong foundation before moving to difficult topics.

The university brings aims to bring companies related to quality control , production ,marketing and medical coding . Internship opportunities are also encouraged as they give practical experience before entering the job market and building my own career in medical sciences. the placement ratio here is more than 90% and average salary offered is more than average . the placement facilities is too best and was college and faculties were quite supportive.

The sports activities like such as cricket , badminton , football , badminton , lawn tennis and many more indoor games. the campus community is too welcoming and students from different background interact freely , creating a positive learning atmosphere. the teaching staff is too good even best they are so supportive . the campus location is peaceful and safe with proper security arrangements all the times . the SRMU provied a balanced and enriching campus life . yes , they can handle emergencies and quite wide facilities from to us in terms of medicals and emergencies.

Most of my batchmates also struggled with campus placements back then. I really hope the college has improved this aspect now.

The institution provides around 10 departments in engineering field covering IT, CSE, CSBS and others like Civil, EEE etc and also provide post graduation courses like MCA and M.Tech with dedicated faculty for each department.

It's named for providing higher number of placements for the engineering students and has many tie ups with companies which visit the campus every year to hire students in final year of both UGand PG courses.

The library is a definite strength; it's well-stocked with Economics texts and research materials, though it can get crowded during exam preparation periods. We don't have a large, sprawling campus or massive grounds, but the prime central location in Kolkata is a huge advantage that compensates for the space limitations. The humanities building where we attend classes sometimes is comparatively better equipped with projectors and air conditioner.

The faculty in the Economics department is truly excellent. Most of the professors are highly knowledgeable, often having significant research experience, and they are genuinely passionate about the subject. While the Calcutta University syllabus we follow is extensive and sometimes feels a bit traditional, the professors make the effort to connect the theory to current economic events and real-world issues. They are also quite accessible outside of class hours for doubt clearing, which is crucial for Honours students. The focus is definitely on building a strong conceptual foundation.

The placement situation here concerns me greatly as a second year student. I see minimal corporate presence on campus for recruitment opportunities. The placement cell does not seem proactive in bringing companies here. I hear most seniors struggle finding jobs through college assistance. This makes me anxious about my own career prospects after graduation. I hope the administration improves this aspect soon.
