I am pursuing an Eco Hons from Hindu College. The faculty is very supportive, and the quality of teaching is also very good, with strong academic exposure. But not all the classrooms have AC. The number of department classes can be increased, and sports can also be improved.

The placement at Hindu is good, with the highest package reaching INR 36.05 LPA. But there is one major drawback that several opportunities remain limited to the placement cell and do not reach all students.

There’s a strong sense of sisterhood here; we celebrated everything from Bathukamma and Diwali to traditional Graduation Days, which always brought the whole college together. Beyond just classes, I loved being part of the NCC and various skill-building workshops that helped us learn things like leadership and entrepreneurship. It’s a safe and comfortable space where you don’t just grow academically, but you also make lifelong friends while sitting in the open gardens during our breaks.

The BBA classes are actually quite good and not too hard to follow. The teachers are very helpful and they don’t mind if we ask many questions during the lesson. I like that they don't just read the books but tell us real stories about how business works. It makes learning feel much less boring for me.

I am just a fresher now, but the college is already talking to us about our future jobs. They conduct some special classes to teach us how to speak better and pass interviews later on. It’s good that they start preparing us early so we don't feel tensed in the final year. Our seniors are also getting good support for their placements.
