College Infrastructure
the college has all the necessities an d could be considered as a mini city in its own as we have more that 55 buildings with 8 to 9 floors each inside the campus.We have different courses and students from across the globe. There is facilities of lecture halls , classrooms, labs of different sorts sports ground, mall , hospital and hypermarkets for different needs,etc. Regular inspections are done that is why everything is hygienic as well as secure.
Academics
The course structure is well defined and changes timely as per the industry trends to keep the students skill ready for early placements. Apart from that it also provide tuition classes for preparation of government exams for the interested candidates. If somebody needs extra classes for any subjects to keep up with the course that is also given one just need to enroll for it.The faculty is supportive and quality of teaching is good.
Placements
Placement rate is generally more than 96 percent other than that we have mock interviews and separate classes to prepare for the interviews. Comparies comes from Microsoft to mass recruiters for taking the students. College is very supportive of placements even sends you to company if required other than that they are very strict for the attendance of the drives and regular exams are taken to check the preparation of the students. Maximum is 3cr. and average is 8to 12 lakhs ctc as for the salary.
Campus Life
Student engage in open mics, student clubs where they can organize events and learn overall management. Other than that on regular basis we have multiple competitions which happens inside the campus then we have food courts where student can own their particular stalls as well.Everything is inspected regularly and there are multiple guards to ensure the safety at all times.

Classrooms,washroom labs, and hostels lack proper facilities. There’s no good library, internet, or sports area. Basic needs like water and sanitation are also ignored.all the collage infrastructure is nothing .

The college academics are weak. Classes are irregular, and teaching methods are outdated. There’s little focus on practical learning or research. Students lack proper guidance and motivation to excel.
Placements
The college has no proper placement system. Companies rarely visit, and students get little career guidance or training. As a result, most graduates struggle to find suitable jobs after completing their studies
Campus Life
Campus life is dull and inactive. There are very few events or extracurricular activities. Students don’t get enough opportunities to showcase their talents or relax. The environment feels boring and feel like prison

Ravenshaw is not a good university in this generation.
College Infrastructure
Ravenshaw does have a good infrastructure tho many buildings seems very old which required renovation. Many department has a bad ventilation system. The classroom sucks during summer. No Ac many fans doesn’t work too.

Teachers here are okish because they dont really clear the concepts student’s stuggle for notes but they simply them to make their own. Many times classes which are scheduled stand cancel which is irritating.
Placements
English department in Ravenshaw, doesn’t offer any placement to the students. Students are highly depended on online platforms for boosting their resume. Students stuggle hard to get an internship often.
Campus Life
Campuses life is not so interesting tbh Ravenshaw doesn’t organise any annual cultural fest. Only different annual function happens here which is done by various hostel here. Ravenshaw doesn’t promote a good variations of societies it just have few like dance drama literature but they doesn’t work well. Ravenshaw doesn’t have a fashion or art club.

Ravenshaw is university which has a good name from British period but right now it is just an average government university and people of this generation will feel very much suppressed because Ravenshaw doesn’t promote young minds.

I have chosen bca cloud computing. They teach very well. Teaches take personalised attention to the student to every students and we get smart classes. The circullum is very much modern and updated. We have smart classes

Our college provides very good placement. They place limit of starting salary which companies like ibm, google, infosys hmt come for requirement. We are trained for many placemts with certification courses.

We have very good friends. Students from other countries and towns come here.we can make good friends. Its throughout world communication we get. Teachers come from other parts, especially english department is very good

Curicumlum is updated & needs to be developed. But introducing skill programmes would be helpful to find job in today's competitive world as per my opinion.

I have not came with any placment news yet haveto see in future. Most students go for Masters after completion of degree and some find jobs on their own. Placement opportunities yet to come and needs to be improved.

College is nearby city. Some of the students are well engaged in sports thats good part. Staff support is good they are free to ask queries. College timing is also good. It is safe for all as per my experience.

My experience this college is good for simple life and engaged in studies. Can enjoy with friends durig breaks some small functions or awarness programs will be held at campus. Also NSS camp will be their at villages. For commerce permanent teaching faculties are too good , Language Professors also good. Well knowledged faculty for commerce. Overall college is nice no heavy stress.

Lecturers are Good. Not Best. Im studying Information Science and Engineering BE course in this college and the quality in 1st year is average. the teachers are chill. seniors say our department has some great yet chill professors who live like friends.

CSE and ISE both fall under same placement cell. so there isnt any lack of opportunities. the skills you have to put personal efforts to manage time for all that. there is a cute and small schedule of academics. you get plenty of time for building skills. Every year about 80% students get placed while having an Average of 7 cpa Package.

Beautiful and chill campus life. Greenary brings joy and students are also close enough to get a vibe. I got my friends so good that now i dont even have any regrets despite taking an year off for this cllege.

I'll say placement for mechanical is progressing with an average of 4-6 LPA. I didn't have the latest placement report, so I'm not very sure about the details. The exposure and network that we get from here can be really helpful for a good landing job.

I'll rate the campus life as good. Since its location is in Kochi city, we can get much exposure, facilities, network, etc. SOE have very active clubs like SAE, IEEE, IGBC, etc, which will help to develop ourselves, gain many experiences, etc.

Currently I'm pursuing engineering in information Science and technology and the teaching is very good,by the experienced teachers.So totally the teaching is excellent,knowledgeable, supportive, and skilled, with many holding advanced degrees; exams are moderate to difficult, with pass rates around 70-80%. The department fosters innovation through well-equipped labs and aligns curriculum with industry standards for placements and higher studies.

There are decent placements in our College.Last year the highest package offered is 9LPA (as per my knowledge). A strong placement record. For the academic year 2024-25, out of 580 eligible undergraduate students, 529 were placed, resulting in a placement rate of approximately 91%. The median salary package offered is around Rs 4 lakhs per annum. Postgraduate placements also show good results with about 35 out of 56 students placed at a similar median package.Top recruiters include reputed companies like HCL, IBM, Toyota, Bosch, TCS, Infosys, and Tech Mahindra, with the highest package reported as Rs 16 lakhs per annum. The placement cell is active with over 50 companies visiting annually, providing internships and pre-placement training to students. Placement success tends to be higher in software-related branches such as Computer Science, Information Science, and Electronics.Overall, BEC offers good placement opportunities with consistent industry connections and strong placement percentages beneficial for graduating student

Okish surroundings good ventilation and poor hygiene during summer the classes are very unbearable because of poor ventilators no Ac no fan poor infrastructure all around floors seems very dirty and washrooms are smelly too.

Good teacher but they don't clear the concept don't even finish the whole syllabus and ask the student to complete by their own self they conduct exam very quickly without even considering UGC guidelines.

They do provide us placements but packages are very less. And often placements are not given must priority. The average package offers here is 3-4 LPA which is not a good offer in today's generation.

Campus Life is pretty good here we often have a lot of fun in seven pillars and annual fest here are very well celebrated and maintained we enjoyed a lot of fun dances songs ramps and drama

Ravenshaw is a good place to hangout it has a safe environment around the anti ragging cell works pretty well and females are safe to walk even late night in the campus.

Hostels are reasonably maintained: rooms are clean, water and electricity supply is stable, and common washrooms are cleaned regularly. The canteen serves hygienic food in a tidy environment. There are a few areas for improvement — some classrooms could use smart-boards instead of only projectors, and hostel rooms are a bit cramped when fully occupied. Overall, the infrastructure supports both academic learning and student life quite well.
