The Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth Ernakulam (Onakkoor campus) has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. The University provides WiFi, library, laboratories, spacious classrooms, sports centres and hostel, for students. These facilities are well maintained. The food provided in the University canteen is tasty and hygienic. The University also provides college bus facility from and to different part of the city and is very convenient.
Academics
I am currently studying MA Sanskrit course. Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth offers an unique course content covering various aspects of the Sanskrit language and it is very beneficial. The teachers in the Sanskrit Department are very well qualified and provide in-depth knowledge in the subject. The curriculum is updated to include the latest developments in the field of Sanskrit. This course helps the student to become job-ready.
Placements
Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth provides placement opportunities by providing the necessary training for students to attend the placement interviews. The preparation for the placement starts in the second semester by way of internship and continues till the end of the course.

The campus life in Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyalaya is a great experience. We have a number of cultural activities, diversified club activities which includes, singing, dancing, drama, literature, Indian Knowledge System, fashion. We also have sports facilities which includes, football, cricket, gymnasium, badminton court, table tennis, carrom, chess and yoga. We have students and teachers who jointly co-ordinate the club activities. The support staff are very efficient and are capable of handling emergencies.

Clg good facilities and infrastructure in our college like everywhere you go we have seperate Wi-Fi for each floor in each block. There are spacious classrooms with digital projector's for the interaction with students. There is a big library, and we have active club activities like interactive sessions with professionals and experts.

We do have experienced faculty who have minimum 4-8 years of experience in teaching, and they do interact with students in the class, except for few who teach just the subject in the curriculum. Our curriculum and exams are not much tough. The papers are prepared by our separate branch faculty, and they vary from moderate to hard.

Quite decent placements we have. But now many companies are not coming to our college. The highest package on paper is 10 LPA, lowest is around 3-2 LPA, and medium is 5 LPA. Asian Paints, Qualcomm, Amazon, and Flipkart are the top recruiters for our college. I don't have much idea about the roles.

There are well-maintained drinking water facilities with proper R.O. filtration systems. The mess food is just average and not too palatable; thus, most of the students have their meals in the canteen or at the nearby food shops. The classrooms are in decent shape, but only some blocks have smart classroom facilities.

Most of the teachers are between 30 and 40 years old, and several of them have M.Tech or Ph.D. degrees. Teaching quality varies as per the teacher—some teachers clarify the concepts very well whereas others are very much dependent on PPTs. Overall, they charge you intellectually, even though they are very friendly and kind.

The maximum package for our batch was close to ₹9 LPA, whereas the minimum package was around ₹3 LPA. Most students have been offered a salary of around ₹3–4.5 LPA. The list of companies that came for the campus drive included Birlasoft, Paytm Services, Nagarro, DXC Technology, and Genpact, and the roles were dominantly technical support, QA, and entry-level development.

Students with good communication skills were able to get more attractive roles like management trainee and business development associate. Students have a lot of academic work and are always busy with assignments, quizzes, and internal exams, so they have very little leisure time. The curriculum is appropriate and firm basis for further studies like CA, CS, or MBA.

Most of the work was aimed at basic accounting, sales coordination, and backend operations. The first salary for the majority of students was between ₹12,000 and ₹18,000 per month. Through references, teachers sometimes facilitate students, but it is their consent which matters. Students have to work outside the college ground as well to get good jobs.

Someone has come with VTU application and the people who came with management. The fee is offered and our course has high recruitment in most of the companies. Internships are provided by the college. But internships are paid. Yet students managed to get unpaid internships by themselves.
