The infrastructure available for our course was average, but in some departments, their facilities were very good and advanced. There is free Wi-Fi available in every classroom. The hostel food was excellent, and the facilities in our hostel were average.
The teachers were very helpful, and they had good knowledge. The teaching quality was excellent. The course curriculum is really relevant, and the semester exams were tough for some subjects and easy for others, but our teachers really help in studies and clear all our doubts.
On average, 80% of students get placements every year. The highest salary offered was 50000 per month, and the lowest salary was 10000 per month, depending on the position we are working in. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Infosys, Sutherland, Wipro, etc.
Wi-Fi is not available throughout the college, not even in classrooms. We have LAN in labs, that's it. The quality of food is decent. It is better to stay in private hostels nearby rather than the college hostel because the food is the same every day. Sports facilities are available and supported.
Teachers help only if we ask them. They are qualified and have decent knowledge about the subject, but not in-depth knowledge. Semester exams are not simple. The curriculum does not make students industry-ready. Teaching quality depends on the teacher. Some teach well, and some do not.
Placements are decent. Around 50% of students get placed. The lowest package is as low as 3 LPA. The highest package is as high as 10 LPA. Top recruiters include Qualcomm, Infosys, Flipkart, Amazon, Asian Paints, TCS, etc. I don't have much information about the top roles. Students get very few internships from the college. Most come from outside.
All are available and are maintained good. Labs are well-equipped with Wi-Fi and projectors. Library has many resources. Hostels are decent with Wi-Fi. Food is average but canteen is better. Sports grounds, gym, and medical help are available. Campus is clean and student-friendly overall.
The faculty members are very helpful and knowledgeable. Curriculum is pretty updated. Faculty members are supportive, and most are qualified. Curriculum has useful electives like AIML and coding that help in the industry. Exams are moderate, manageable with regular study. Pass percentage is high.
Around 65-70% of them got placed. The highest package is 14 LPA, the lowest is 3.5 LPA, average is 6 LPA - 7 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Accenture visit for recruitment. Many students got internships in IT firms and startups as developer or analyst. It is good, helpful, and worth it, and the guidance is all.
The infrastructure at Avanthi’s St. Theressa Institute of Engineering & Technology is decent and steadily improving. The college has spacious classrooms with proper ventilation and seating, making long lectures comfortable. Most departments have well-maintained labs with the necessary equipment for practical work, especially in CSE, ECE, and mechanical branches. The library is one of the quieter places on campus, with a good number of textbooks, reference materials, and previous years’ papers. The campus is clean and has enough open space for students to move around or relax between classes. Wi-Fi is available, though not always stable during peak usage. The canteen provides affordable snacks and meals, but the menu is limited. Overall, the infrastructure is practical and supports everyday academic needs.
The faculty members at this college are approachable and supportive toward students. Many teachers explain concepts in a simple manner and make sure students understand the fundamentals before moving to advanced topics. They often encourage asking questions and clearing doubts during or after class. Some professors bring in real-world examples and small demonstrations to make technical subjects easier. There are also workshops, extra classes, and department-level sessions organized to help students learn competitive exam topics or technical skills. While a few teachers rely on older teaching methods, the majority genuinely try to guide students academically and personally. Faculty involvement in projects and seminars adds good exposure.
Placements at Avanthi’s St. Theressa Institute are decent for students who prepare well. Most opportunities are available for CSE, IT, and ECE branches, with companies offering roles in software development, testing, BPO, and support. The placement cell conducts soft-skill training, aptitude sessions, and mock interviews to help students perform better. Core branches get fewer on-campus placements, so many students rely on off-campus drives and company recruitment portals. The average package is moderate, and high packages are relatively rare. Students who work on programming, communication, or technical tools usually manage to get placed. Overall, placements depend on student effort but the college provides decent support.

The building and the campus it was situated in was very good like we had different departments having separate buildings, canteens were 4, grounds for football, cricket, kabaddi, volleyball all indoor and outdoor sports grounds were there.
Academics were good, teachers were actually pg graduates from iits and iims and their teaching style was very nice. I loved it very much. Course curriculum was also very good and they used to conduct technical Fiestas, robotic competitions.
Placements was OK, packages were less but the companies did come like tata elxsi, TCS, TIAA, RS Labs, etc. and the Placements was not that good like it was not upto mark. Placements team was there everything was fair and transparent but due to market conditions it was low period.
The college is built in a campus with other colleges of other departments like engineering, etc. We're studying in ac rooms and we got turf on top of building and also audi is very nice and well maintained.
Okay Academics and teachers are good like our marketing Sir is good. They are providing us with all specializations like marketing, hr, finance it and ooperations.curriculum seems to be nice for now, it is by Mumbai university.
I have heard from my seniors that the average package is 6.5 lakh per annum. They are actually upskilling us to industry standards by providing free certification courses. Placement cell actually does their work in getting everyone ready for Placements.
My college have all the necessary infrastructure, the accedmics block contains all the department (Comp, IT, Entc, Mech). the computer labs are well maintained and have all the required machines. we have a football ground, cricket ground, 2 basketball courts, 3 vollyball grounds, 1 badminton hall, 1 tennis ground, 1 squash court and 1 kabaddi court (with mat)
Academics is decent not very extraordaniry and not very bad, few teachers are not up to the mark but few are very good, 75% attendence rule is there especially for 1st and 2nd year students, teachers mostly teach from ppts
placements are good especially for CS and IT, the core companies of electronics are very less but still they are allowed in most of the it companies for interviews, placements of mechanical department is not very good.
my campus life is very amazing i have good friends, i also play cricket for my collage team so go to practice almost daily which i enjoy the most. there are few restrictions also on collage IN timings and face detection inside the hostels.
Compared other private agriculture colleges it was good. Still the restrooms and rooms in hostel are not on par with the fees that they are charging for. Mess foods was not good, it was pretty bad to be honest.
Good teachers, they actually care about academics more. I learned a lot from them . The guidance I got really made reach the place I'm in right now. I feel grateful for that. The classrooms were pretty good as well.
No placements were provided till 2023. There were no designated committee or people to place students. Now thinking back there are no colleges in Tamil Nadu actually provide placements for agriculture students. Atleast guidance for this part is essential to make students aware about the opportunities that are available for them in this arena.
Decent

Academics is good in terms of other college in this area, teaching quality is average. In PGDM department they can update their syllabus as per industry needs. college conducts presentation and case study can ready for industry.
In marketing specialization, their placement is very good. Average CTC offered by college is 5 to 8 lakh. And highest package offered by college is 26 lakh in this year.. The placement process easy and pleasant for students.
College infrastructure is good in terms of building and basics amenities. All the necessary infrastructure is available in the college. This is a government college butt basic amenities is available in the college.
If i am talking about academics, the academics was not so much good. academics is average because their syllabus is outdated. They can follow UGC syllabus, their course is designed only for degree not for placement.
In my batch 0% percent students students got placed in my batch. No placement cell is available in my college. No placement support by our college. Highest and average CTC by college is 0 lakh. This college is only good for degree.
Sairam engineering college in west tambaram, has moderate to good quality infrastructure. It has proper computer labs, physics labs and chemistry labs. It also has incubation center near the library. It's very helpful if you're someone who's interested in building a prototype or starting a business. They help you whenever you want, you can also stay 24/7 and work there itself. And about hygiene and cleanliness, its moderate I'd say.
The staffs are good in my department also they help you with your doubts. They are not very experienced I'd say, but they will help you out. And curriculum of your department is actually good compared to other colleges in Chennai. They really give focus to management papers too, and only management staffs teach those papers. So, you are good hands.
They have good placements. Majority students are hired in TCS(ninja, etc). There is also few more companies. I'd personally say, if you have proper coding skills and little communication skills, you can get placed. If you're not, then don't blame the management.
There are several clubs here. Its little inactive tho, but some are actually active. The tip is to ask your seniors, and join in those and be active. NCC, NSS, UBA, Skill development and Scouts are some of the active clubs as far as I know. And location might seem like a forest area, but its not. This college is safe and might handle emergencies i think.
The dress code for girls specifically are too strict. You should wear only kurtis and shawl, and straight cut pants are allowed. If your dress is not proper or you're not wearing id card, you need pay fine. You're also not allowed to talk to opposite gender, they are too strict about it. You will get suspended if you do. The college is little too strict. If you are someone, who wants to enjoy college life (like wearing whatever clothes you want or talking to any boy/girl)

Students get guidance for projects, seminars, and technical skills.

Placement opportunities are available, but the consistency varies across different courses. Some students secure good packages, while others experience limited campus visits depending on the year. A few reputed companies visit, but high-package offers are not very common. Internship chances are better, with many students getting practical exposure. Overall, placements are decent but not extraordinary.

the infrastructure is good but they have bad blocking system, they have no proper area for hostel the hostels are at different different places not having their own block, Hostels rooms are too small and leaking
If you are at your own then this college is for you, they will teach you but they will not teach you perfectly. So do everything by your own and ask them for help and also study some extra languages for future
The placement is really good if you compare it to other colleges. the college gives you many opportunities for you so that you can have a job but you have to work on your own to crack the job the team is very helpful.
there is no campus life in this college the main campus gate will close at 8 pm and no one is allowed to go out after that and the students who are not in hostel are not allowed to enter the campus without permissions.
