Shivam College of Higher Studies, Patna Admission Process

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): The B.Ed program at Shivam College of Higher Studies, Patna has 200 seats. Admission to this program is merit-based. Evaluation is carried out to arrive at the merit rank based on academic performance of candidates over and above qualifying examinations, because this would give admission priority to the best academically qualified candidates. This program is specifically structured to equip students with qualification and skills for teaching at the secondary and higher secondary levels.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): The D.El.Ed program is comprised of 100 seats. The admission process for this diploma course is much wider than that of the B.Ed program. It has two main components:

D.El.Ed admissions will be on an overall merit list taking into consideration both performance in the entrance test and the personal interview.
