The Basic Network and Database Security course will give you the background needed to understand network security basics. The Basic Network and Database Security programme is entirely free of cost for enrolment. However, you can also add a verified certificate by paying a fee. Spanning four weeks, it is an introductory course in the field of computer science and a part of the IBM Cybersecurity Fundamentals Professional Certificate programme. Edx offers 2 tracks which are audit and verified tracks. Both the tracks are offered in the self-paced mode. While in the free audit track, the candidates will be able to only study and access the materials for a certain period of time.
