PSG Institute of Management Coimbatore (PSGIM) is located in Coimbatore. It was started as the Department of Management Sciences under the PSG College of Technology in the year 1964 and was granted the autonomous status by the University of Madras and the University Grants Commission (UGC). The institute has become PSG Institute of Management in 1994. The institute is ranked 33rd by NIRF. The institute offers M.B.A full time, part-time, PGTM and Ph.D programmes which are affiliated to Anna University, approved by AICTE, New Delhi
Location: The college is located in J block, 1668, Avinashi Rd, Peelamedu, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. Coimbatore Junction is 06 km away from the institution and it takes 16 minutes to reach from the station. This program is available as a capsule inclusive of the various NCFM modules. PSGIM students have taken up this course.
Collaboration with Coimbatore Toastmasters Club Toastmasters International: This is a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network. PSGIM has collaboration with the Coimbatore Toastmasters Club. The students of PSGIM show a keen interest in joining this club in order to hone their communication skills.

The Entrepreneurship Cell: The E-Cell of PSGIM focuses on fostering entrepreneurship on campus. It had undertaken many activities to nurture the entrepreneurial spirit of the students.
Center for Family Business and Entrepreneurship: PSG seeks to provide an interface for academicians, researchers and practitioners through its ‘Center for Family Business and Entrepreneurship’ to learn from each other, embrace best practices and engage expertise. The centre’s vision is to lead the global advancement of entrepreneurship education and family business practices through the development of academic, research, and outreach initiatives that inspire thinking and cultivate leadership in the family business and entrepreneurial organizations and society.
Centre for Sustainable Development (CSD): CSD seeks to achieve reduced resource consumption and waste generation using technological and process innovations and inspired leadership. It continuously reviews and studies industry practices and initiatives to identify sustainable practices that can be adapted to different industries. The Centre also helps enterprises install mechanisms through which they can monitor progress with respect to energy efficiency, waste management, recycling efforts and other related activities so that businesses can be both environmentally sustainable and financially successful.
Center for Women’s Studies: The objectives of the centre is to understand the different facets of gender issues and to create awareness and sensitization among the students and the local community. It offers capacity-building training and outreach programmes and disseminates knowledge to students.
International Centre for Finance: The centre works closely with the industry to broaden areas of common interest with the academia by organising short term programmes, conferences and workshops in the areas of finance and investments.

The official cutoff for 2020 has not been released yet , but then the TANCET rank list may release soon. The cutoffs will depend on the number of seats available, number of students applying for MBA through TANCET and the difficulty level of the exam. As far as the admission in your desired college is concerned ,it will depend on this year's competition . As per previous year cutoff , if you have a 60+ actual score in TANCET you will get PSG college.
