Yes distance course are accepted in every exam . Its equivalent to a regular course , you can give net, Cat , Upsc every exam so don't worries ...

Yes, you are eligible for the UGC NET exam because to apply for NET exam candidates must have masters’ degree from the approved and recognized universities and IGNOU is a UGC approved University.

But you have to fulfill the basic requirements of the UGC NET. You should have minimum 55% aggregate marks in post-graduation and 5% relaxation will be provided to the reserved candidates.

To apply for JRF your age must not exceed 30 years or if you are from SC/ST/PWD/OBC candidate then you will get 5 years age relaxation.

For assistant professor no age criteria is applicable.

yes, you can apply for UGC NET. Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science &Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for appearing in the exam. The eligibility cut off for SC, ST, OBC, PWD candidates is 50 %.
